Building a website is something any business can do - and most have. But getting people to visit that site is the major battle. There are thousands of sources of information for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and even more companies more than willing to break your bank to optimize your site. The reality is that there are some basic things you can do to get a head-start on the competition and make your site Google-friendly before ever talking to an SEO company.

This one-hour presentation will break it down to the basics - no minimum geek level required! We're not trying to sell you SEO services - that's not what we do. Our goal is simply for you to be an informed customer. We'll break down the jargon and terminology, and give you a good foundation of information as you start to wade through the sea of SEO "experts".

Presentation time is approximately 40 minutes, with 20 minutes allotted for questions - groups tend to be large, so not all questions will get answered. However, all participants get access to our Forums, where the questions and interaction can continue even after the presentation is complete. All participants also get a PDF document of the presentation material to keep for their own reference.

Upon registration, student will receive an email with access instructions, as well as an alternate call-in telephone number and a PDF of course materials.
